Universal Catalytic Converter / Three-way Catalytic Converter(TWC)

A three-way (or three-effect) catalytic converter is a specialized device in an engine's exhaust system. It oxidizes hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) in the exhaust and reduces nitrogen oxides (NOx) to harmless nitrogen and oxygen.
It uses a large surface area for sufficient contact between exhaust gases and the catalytic material (like platinum, palladium, etc.), usually achieved with a honeycomb ceramic or metal mesh substrate coated with the catalyst.

 

The catalyst facilitates oxidation of HC and CO with trace oxygen, lowering reaction temperature and concentration. It can oxidize over 90% of HC and CO into water vapor and carbon dioxide. When oxygen is low, NOx and HC react to form harmless oxygen and nitrogen, with a conversion efficiency of over 90% under suitable conditions.

When high-temperature exhaust passes through, the catalyst inside boosts the reactivity of CO, HC, and NOx, triggering redox reactions. CO is oxidized to carbon dioxide, HC to water and carbon dioxide, and NOx to nitrogen and oxygen, purifying the exhaust effectively.

1. Q: What types of catalysts are there?
A: We are a catalyst factory and can provide various types of catalysts. We can produce catalysts for EURO2 - EURO6. This includes honeycomb catalysts for gasoline engines, as well as DOC, DPF, SCR, etc. for diesel engines.

2. Q: How about the performance of the catalysts?
A: We have passed the IATF1649 certification and cooperate with domestic and international automobile brands. The performance of our catalysts can meet the regulatory requirements of different regions.

3. Q: Is the price competitive?
